9 September 2013
Subversive Front took part at the Human Rights Violation Documentation training organised by ILGA Europe, from 6 to 8 September 2013, in Lisbon, Portugal. LGBTI and queer activists from Georgia, Greece, Armenia, Portugal and Russia participated at the training, and host-organisation was ILGA Portugal. At the training were presented the main principles and methods of monitoring and documentation of human rights violations and the ways of their alignment with advocacy work. The activists were trained to develop their own documentation and advocacy plans and ILGA Portugal's good practices of documentation and advocacy were shown to them. The training was led by Judith Dueck - member of HURIDOCS' International Advisory Council - an expert with extensive expertise on human rights violations documentation, and ILGA-Europe's staff.
